At Hazelwood, we are proud to have a fully functioning children's kitchen up in "The Nest" above Rowan Hall. Our HPSA committee worked tirelessly to raise the money to pay for the build and now our children are able to use the kitchen on a regular basis. 

We use our kitchen during our Design and Technology cooking units, as well as during our focus weeks such as Multicultural week and Mental Health and Wellbeing Week. This way, our children are able to learn lots of new skills, including prepping, chopping, baking, frying, seasoning, tasting and, of course, cleaning! 

We are delighted to be able to offer cooking courses to all ages, run by our staff and volunteers. This means that our kitchen is in use every week and tasty food is being made all year round!
