Homework

Expected Daily Reading

Children should read every day!

Your child will have a physical practise decodable book and an e-book (the book they are reading in class). They should practise reading these books daily to develop their fluency and comprehension.

We encourage lots of reading for pleasure too! Please read lots of books to your child. Bedtime is a perfect time to snuggle up and enjoy a book together.

Your child will bring home a book from our library every week to enjoy with you.
