World Book Day was celebrated once again with a feast of literary characters throughout Hazelwood. Children dressed up as so many different characters and talked about their favourite books. This year, we joined thousands of children around the country in a live draw along and story telling workshop provided by Scholastic.
This included: 
- The Flower Thief book
- Dog man and The boy with big decisions
- Solve a mystery at the Ivy Hotel with Emily Hourican!
- How Books are Made: How your favourite stories reach your shelves

Additionally, the children took part in a book hunt and had a teacher swap where a different teacher from the school came to read them their favourite story.
