Our Breakfast and After School Club is run by a dynamic team of friendly, multicultural, experienced Hazelwood staff who have the children’s best interests at heart. Our 12 Hazelwood Values are a big part of our ethos which all stakeholders are expected to exhibit.

We offer a safe, stimulating, nurturing environment suitable for all children from Nursery age to Year 6 where everyone is treated with respect. As we are an inclusive school, we welcome children with additional needs.
 

Breakfast Club

Open Monday to Friday, from 08:00 until morning registration

A typical morning includes breakfast which consists of toast, cereal and juice and the children can engage in a range of activities including: games, arts and crafts. Just before the start of the school day, KS2 children are sent into the playground, while KS1 pupils are walked to their classrooms.

Breakfast Club provision runs from 8am daily

Dropping off: Please enter via the side entrance by the main office, not the vehicle gate. You will need to use the buzzer (at the main gate) to alert Breakfast Club staff that you have arrived and they will then let you in. Please avoid pressing the main office button as it will likely be closed.

Costs: The cost for Breakfast club is currently £3.50 per day per child.  You must have credit in your ParentPay account for children to attend the club. If payments are not made in advance, you will be at risk of losing your place and it being offered to others. 

If you no longer require this provision, please call or email the school office ASAP so that we can offer it to another family on our waiting list.

 

After School Club  

Open Monday to Friday, from the time your child/ren’s school day ends until 5:45pm

Late fees are applicable @ £1 per minute

After School Club provision runs until 5.45pm daily

We deliver a range of activities, both inside and outside (weather permitting) sure to cater to everyone’s interests and needs.  To name a few, we have: arts and crafts, a role play area, fine and gross motor skills activities, a quiet area, construction, board games and team sports.

ASC provision runs from 3:30pm until 5:45pm. Please ensure you send your child in with an appropriate nut free snack and drink.

Picking Up: There is a video buzzer at the main gate to alert staff of your arrival. There is a second buzzer which you will also need to use at the side gate before being allowed on site. Please do not press the main office button as the office may be closed.
